Princess Latifa Sent Her ID Documents To Prove Her Identity

When Sheikha Latifa contacted Detained in Dubai, she shared copies of the following documents to provide supporting evidence of her identity. These included:

A photocopy of her UAE passport

UAE passport issued to Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (II) (photocopy)

Latifa’s passport indicates her date of birth and place of birth, as well as her photograph.
The passport also states she is a “Member of Ruling Family, Dubai”, making it clear she is the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

UAE Identity Card

UAE Identity Card (front) issued to Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (II)

UAE Identity Card (back) issued to Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (II)

Photos of the front and back of Latifa’s UAE Identity Card were provided. These display her name, date of birth, photo, and national ID number.

Certificates

Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (II): PADI, IANTD, Edexcel, and FAA medical certificates

The above records include several of Latifa’s PADI and IANTD scuba diving certifications, GCSE certificates, and an FAA medical certificate relating to skydiving.

Proof of Identification

The sheer number of documents shared by Latifa, including her UAE Identity Card and photocopy of her passport, proved that she was indeed who she claimed.
